Children's Summer Programmer

The Penhold & District Library is looking for an outgoing and organized individual to lead our 2026 Summer Reading Program!

 

In this role, you will have the freedom to inspire local youth by developing engaging literacy activities and unique programs. Your daily tasks will include planning diverse sessions for children ages 3–12, managing program budgets, and creating fun social media content to promote our events. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for storytelling and experience working with children to help build lasting relationships between families and the library.

 

This is a full-time summer position running from early May through late August. If you are a post-secondary student ready to lead and mentor community youth, we would love to hear from you!
