Event Details

Jaclyn is an experienced teacher who has combined her passion for dogs to create a one-of-a-kind program to get children excited about learning. Pawsitive Canines - Pawsitive Kids gives children an opportunity to learn about dogs while their excitement for learning grows.

Her certified Therapy Dog, Ace, has been present around students of all ages to assist them with staying calm, de-stressing for exams, and gaining more confidence at school. Having a dog present helps students relax and become more focused on school work. She has trained therapy dogs and is offering a session with Ace to increase knowledge on how to have a calm dog including “reactive” and rescue dogs, recognizing dog body language, myth busting fun, and a question period.
